Majoring in International Studies
The International Studies major is intended to prepare students for a wide range of careers. Many graduates go on to law school or graduate school in political science and public affairs. Our graduates have pursued careers such as teachers, lawyers, Foreign Service officers,
journalists, and district attorneys. Many have also gone into the world of business. The goal of the program is to make students knowledgeable about significant contemporary and historical global issues and to provide them with the analytical tools necessary to succeed in the
modern workplace. The major emphasizes critical, written, and verbal analysis of current global politics. International Studies students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of one of Berry's many study abroad programs.
