Cook, Green, Laughlin and Moon laboratories may be reserved for class use during the day. A lab assistant will be required for all reservations after 5 PM. To reserve a lab for class meetings, Berry faculty and staff may use the Campus EMS system. You will receive a confirmation email when it has been reviewed and processed. Please submit reservation requests at least 3 days in advance.

Computer Lab Usage & Priority Policy

Computer Lab use is granted on the following policy:

  • Classes meeting in the lab as their regular meeting place, assigned through the Registrar's office
  • Classes reserved in the lab, confirmed through the campus EMS system (see above)
  • Non-academic sessions, reserved through the campus EMS system
  • Students using the lab for class or college purposes
  • Students using the lab for leisure or personal activities

Lab hours may vary by semester, but general hours and the software available in each lab can be found here.

A lab assistant is always present during all computer lab hours open for student use. They are there to monitor the lab, report technical issues, and assist patrons with basic functions. Lab patrons should abide by any request from the lab assistant. Any problem with lab assistants, or a lab without a lab assistant present, should be reported to the staff computer lab coordinator, Terri Sills, at tsills@berry.edu.
