THEATRE STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

Berry College Theatre Company

The Berry College Theatre Company (BCTC) is a student-run organization that, with the academic and creative support of the Theatre faculty, provides the college and community with quality theatrical productions throughout the academic year. Our shows run Thursday through Sunday for two consecutive weekends for a total of eight shows. BCTC also has monthly meetings and organizes service projects, fund raisers and social outings. Membership is open to any member of the college community, and everyone is invited to the meetings. Elections are held annually among the active members to fill the officer positions for the next year.

Kappa Alpha Cast of Alpha Psi Omega, National Theatre Honor Society

Membership in the Kappa Alpha Cast is awarded for hard work and dedication on BCTC productions. Students must also be in good academic standing in order to be considered for membership. Members are chosen twice per year, at the end of each semester.

The members of the Kappa Alpha cast and Alpha Psi Omega as a whole, continuously work to discover and perfect methods of performance, design and stagecrafts. They also study and understand classic and modern theatre, and support the work of their peers.

Each Year the Kappa Alpha Cast will produce a Cabaret to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids as their philanthropic contribution to the broader theatre community.
