Accounting and Finance

Accounting is the language of business. It is not only the measurement and recording of financial information but also a discipline that involves analysis and critical thinking to provide management and investors with accurate information to make intelligent business decisions. Areas of specialization within accounting include auditing, tax, cost accounting, and financial statement reporting.  Finance is the art and science of managing money. Berry’s finance curriculum focuses on concepts that include the time value of money, risk and return, asset evaluation, and understanding and interpreting financial statements and ratios.
