Dr. Megan McCoy Dowdy, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Economics. She has taught courses in introductory economics, intermediate microeconomics, labor economics and the history of economic thought, where she encourages students to master the material through the use of cooperative learning activities and peer‐to‐peer teaching. Dr. McCoy Dowdy’s research interests lie in applied microeconomics with a focus on understanding gender differences in the labor market.
