DEVELOP THE COMPELLING NARRATIVES

Communication

Major • Minor

What we learn to do, we learn by doing.

Throughout history, people have gathered and spread information through telling and sharing stories. As a communication major, you will develop your writing, editing, storytelling, persuading and publishing skills across a range of media.

You’ll prepare for your career by concentrating in an area of interest such as digital storytelling, public relations, filmmaking and cinema, or sports communication.

Start working in your medium or track of interest on day one, learning on the job by contributing to a wide range of student-run media. Broaden this experience each summer through opportunities to live, work and learn abroad.
