Freshman Admissions
Admissions Requirements
A student applying to Berry should have earned a diploma from an accredited high school and completed:
- 4 years of English
- 4 years of Mathematics - (including algebra I and II, either geometry or trigonometry, and a fourth year of mathematics beyond algebra II)
- 3 years of Natural Science
- 3 years of Social Studies
- 2 years of Foreign Language
Your academic record is the most important factor in your admission to Berry, but test scores are considered. Admission to the freshman class is based upon probable success determined from high-school grades and college-entrance test scores.
Admissions Guidelines
Students looking to apply to Berry are encouraged to complete the following criteria:
- 2.75+ GPA in Academic (core) Classes
- 1500 SAT (M + CR + W) and/or
- 22 ACT (writing section required)
- Meet the Georgia College Prep Diploma Requirements (as listed above)
All applications are encouraged and will be taken into consideration.
Homeschool Students
Homeschool students are required to submit the same criteria as regular accredited high school students. Through the application process, homeschool students should submit two personal recommendation forms (instead of one counselor recommendation form and one personal recommendation form).
Application Deadline
Berry College admits students using a rolling admissions process. We are currently accepting applications and will continue to accept them until 30 days prior to the start of the term as long as space is available.
