A Message to Parents: Affording a Berry Education

Berry College understands that today’s shifting economic situation is creating anxiety for parents about college expenses.  We are concerned as well and want to assure you that we will work with you and your student to minimize debt and help your student become part of Berry’s unique and life-changing education.

To make your information-gathering process easier, take a look at the steps outlined for applying to Berry on our financial aid pages.  You will find information about how to apply for aid and what steps your student needs to take to explore options for making a Berry education affordable for your family.  Please note that the process begins when a student applies to and is accepted at Berry College and includes completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form.

Berry has a strong merit scholarship and need-based financial assistance program, including more than 500 endowed scholarships, to make attending college more affordable.  You will find that Berry alumni and friends are committed to assisting new generations of students in affording a college education. Consideration for these scholarships and all other need-based aid is contingent on completion of the FAFSA form.

As America’s premier work experience college, Berry guarantees an on-campus job to all students regardless of financial need.  Such opportunity is integral to the Berry experience and is an additional  source of financial assistance.  Further, we are currently developing programs to cap student debt and to assist families in finding unique ways to finance a quality education.

For more information about applying for financial aid at Berry, visit the application procedure page.

Berry is something different and our approach to aid is different.

Sincerely,
Gary Waters
