General CounseL

The General Counsel serves as the College's chief in-house legal officer, and performs the following functions:

  • Provides legal counsel to the President, Vice Presidents, other college administrators and staff in all college departments, and the Board of Trustees, and advises on the legal ramifications of college policy and decision-making.
  • Performs the traditional functions associated with in-house counsel including managing litigation, review and negotiation of contracts, advice on human resource matters, review of relevant state, federal and local laws and regulations, handling of real estate matters, and other general-practice legal issues which arise.
