Job Summary - The Psychology Department at Berry College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Developmental Psychology beginning in August 2013. A Ph.D. is preferred, although persons who are ABD will be considered. The department and college both value and encourage faculty to engage students in collaborative research. Berry operates an on-campus laboratory preschool and child-development center as well as an elementary and middle school as part of the Charter School of Education and Human Sciences.

Minimum Qualifications - The candidate should be prepared to teach the following courses: Life-Span Development, Child and Adolescent Psychology, Adulthood and Aging, Psychological Testing,an integrated two-course sequence of research methods and statistics, in addition to seminars in his or her areas of research expertise. The faculty may also be required to teach the introductory psychology course.

Preferred Qualifications - A Ph.D. is preferred although ABD’s will be considered.
