Job Summary

The Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful applicant will have an active research agenda, demonstrate aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching in a liberal arts setting, and a desire to contribute to our departmental commitment of excellent teaching in a student-centered environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Instructing undergraduate courses in the exercise science curriculum: Cardiorespiratory Exercise Physiology; Community Health; Research Methods for Exercise Science, Medical Terminology for Allied Health, and Motor Learning Behavior. - Establishing and maintaining a student involved scholarly research agenda - Continuing peer-reviewed publications - Advising students in academic and professional capacities - Participate in curriculum development and assessment - Engaging in professional services to the college, school, department, profession and community

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Exercise Science or a related field, demonstrated potential to meet research expectations, and a commitment to excellence in teaching and service. Rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
