Job Summary

The Department of English, Rhetoric and Writing at Berry College invites applications for a Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor to begin in August 2018. This is a three-year appointment primarily to teach first-year writing courses. The field of expertise is open, but knowledge of and experience with current trends in writing pedagogy, especially argumentation and the integration of research into the development of sound arguments, is important. Review of applications will begin January 5, 2018 and materials must be received by that date to receive full consideration.

Minimum Qualifications

M.A. required; PhD strongly preferred. A demonstrated commitment to teaching writing is essential.
