Believing that each child is an individual, the staff of the Berry College Child Development Center is committed to treating each child with care and concern. Because we want your child to grow in every area, we provide stimulating activities and enriching experiences that encourage growth and development socially, emotionally, and academically.
BCES provides a practicum setting for college students who are involved in observations and guided teaching experiences. College students also participate in the life of the school through the Student Work Opportunity Program as classroom aides. Through this relationship, BCES students receive many opportunities to attend a variety of college and local cultural events.
Berry College Middle School has a one class per grade structure for grades 5 through 8. Our curriculum is based on national standards and we consciously strive to teach students the joy of learning. Our students regularly achieve in the superior range on standardized assessments, and our teachers place a strong emphasis on building and strengthening fundamentals in all major content areas. Teaching and learning at Berry is guided by an integrated constructivist model of theory and practice, in which students construct knowledge and apply it in new ways based on their experiences both in and outside of the classroom.
Kindermusik uses music to encourage early learning and creativity in children newborn through 7 years of age. Music is the means, not the goal. The goal is a more alive, creative, and able child.
