Dear Berry College community:
Due to the pending weather impact from Hurricane Helene, Berry College classes are canceled on Friday, September 27, 2024 and only Emergency Operations personnel need report for college operations. Berry College will continue normal operations until 10:00 pm this evening.
The following schedule pertains to key campus services tomorrow:
- Dining Services will be serving meals on a Weekend Schedule.
- Cage Center will open at Noon tomorrow with normal operations.
- Library will open at Noon tomorrow with normal operations.
It appears the most significant weather from Hurricane Helene is forecast to affect Berry College throughout the overnight hours so please be weather aware. If there is significant wind and rain we will be concerned about losing power and fallen branches and/or trees throughout the campus. If we lose power please remain indoors, our first priority will be your safety and that of the Emergency Operations personnel who are working to restore the college to normal operations.
We hope you and your families continue to remain safe throughout this weather event and we intend to monitor the weather conditions and provide updates as conditions warrant.
