On these peak Saturdays, about 4,000 cars enter campus. This translates to around 10,000 visitors.

Berry holds a special place in the hearts of many in our community, and we’re delighted that our beautiful campus can serve as the backdrop for your special moments. Please review all expectations and guidelines below when planning for your visit.
PLEASE BE AWARE:
During prom and homecoming seasons, campus visitation increases dramatically.
This traffic increase will lead to delays, limited parking and the likelihood of walking distances.
Busy times & alternative locations:
- Peak days: Saturdays in late March, April and early May — especially between noon and 6 p.m.
- High-traffic areas: The Ford Buildings are the most congested. We encourage you to explore other scenic campus spots such as Memory Lane, College Chapel, Barnwell Chapel, Kilpatrick Commons or our many fields and wooded areas.
- Off-campus options: The Rome community offers beautiful locations as well, including the iconic City Clocktower, Opera Alley off Broad Street, Broad Street itself, the Robert Redden Footbridge and the Labyrinth of Rome to name a few.
Photography & Videography Expectations and Guidelines (Non-Commercial)
NOTE: Commercial filming and photography require approval from the Public Relations Office. Please contact Chris Kozelle for more information.
- Respect our campus community
Berry is a private institution, not a public park, where students, faculty and staff live and work. These groups have priority access to outdoor areas around buildings. Do not block walkways, entrances or access to building access — even briefly.
- Events take precedence
Berry frequently hosts weddings, concerts, recitals, athletic events and other gatherings. Please avoid interrupting or encroaching on these activities in any way. - Restroom access
Public restrooms are available at the Krannert Center. Visitors MAY NOT enter other buildings or residence halls, so plan accordingly. - Parking rules
Park only in designated lots and marked areas. Do not park on streets or in the grass unless otherwise directed by Berry staff. Be prepared to walk. - Protect our historic campus
Do not climb on or alter buildings, signs, trees, gardens or other structures. Avoid natural areas with flowers, plants and ponds; stay out of the Ford reflection pools. - Leave our campus as you found it
Remove all props and personal items after your shoot. Littering is prohibited. Items such as glitter, balloons and confetti are not allowed due to risks to wildlife and potential waterway contamination. - No drones
Drones of any size may not be brought to or operated on campus. - Mountain campus access
Most areas of Mountain Campus are private or restricted, with the exceptions of Possum Trot and Mirror/Swan Lakes. - Oak Hill & Martha Berry Museum
Photography and videography are permitted with the purchase of a Photography Pass, available at the Museum.
