Adjunct Faculty of the Physician Associate Program
Dr. Carolyn Elliott Rusiecki, PT, DPT, NCS is an Adjunct Professor in the Berry College Physician Associate Program. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Anthropology at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC in 2012 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA in 2018. She completed her Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program in 2020 at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, FL. She is a board-certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS)
Dr. Rusiecki has been in clinical practice since 2018, primarily in inpatient/acute care and outpatient settings. Clinical expertise includes focusing on patient populations with neurologic conditions, including vestibular and concussion diagnoses. Dr. Rusiecki has certifications in physical therapy special topics of dry needling and LSVT Big. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Rusiecki has been involved with physical therapy education via precepting students and as an adjunct professor at Mercer University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Dr. Rusiecki currently practices in outpatient neurologic physical therapy at Atrium Health Floyd.
Dr. Rusiecki has a passion for advocating for underserved populations with neurologic deficits and interdisciplinary communication for optimal patient care.
