Hope Willoughby has served as a Lecturer of Communication and Assistant Director of Forensics at Berry since 2013. Hope’s background is in critical rhetoric – particularly focusing on American public address – and her current research analyzes the role of narrative in forensics competition. Her favorite thing about working at Berry is mentoring students, especially through coaching students on Berry’s national award-winning forensics team, serving as an academic advisor, and helping students pursue their own research interests for papers and presentations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughters Kate and Olivia, running, and cooking.
