Professor of Spanish
Dr. Julee Tate is Professor of Spanish. She joined the Department of World Languages and Cultures in 2003, after completing a B.A. degree in Political Science and Spanish at Emory University and a Ph.D. in Spanish at Tulane University. Her area of specialization is twentieth and twenty-first century Latin American literature and culture. She is also interested in service learning and served as Faculty Director of the Berry College ESL Program from 2008 to 2013 and as Faculty Associate for the Bonner Center for Community Engagement from 2013 to 2019.
