Assistant Professor of Data Analytics
Dr. Zhuowen (Karen) Chen is an Assistant Professor of Data Analytics in the Campbell School of Business at Berry College. She earned her Ph.D. in Operations Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Chen teaches business analytics, business intelligence, information systems, and data-driven decision-making. Her research spans business analytics, sustainable supply chain management, circular economy, and emerging digital technologies, with a particular focus on leveraging blockchain and artificial intelligence to advance social and environmental sustainability in operations and supply chains. Her work has been published in leading business and engineering journals, including the International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, Resources, Conservation & Recycling, Green Chemistry, and Journal of Cleaner Production, among others.
