Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Dr. Nathan Gaby is a proud alumnus of Berry College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics before pursuing his Ph.D. in Mathematics at Georgia State University. Now returning to Berry as a faculty member, Dr. Gaby brings a deep appreciation for the college’s values and a strong commitment to its students. With a research background that includes multiple published papers across optimization, control theory, and numerical analysis, Dr. Gaby is passionate about both the theoretical and applied aspects of mathematics. His academic work reflects a dedication to exploring complex mathematical concepts while maintaining a clear focus on accessible, student-centered learning. Dr. Gaby is especially invested in mentoring and guiding students not only in the classroom, but also as they navigate the broader challenges and opportunities of college life. He believes in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can grow both intellectually and personally.
