Area Clinical Education Director of the Physician Associate Program
Dr. Robert King is a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist practicing at the Harbin Clinic in Rome, Georgia and is Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. He is on the Community Faculty of the Medical College of Georgia and serves in many administrative and clinical roles within the Harbin Clinic, Atrium Floyd Medical Center, and Advent Redmond Medical Center. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at The University of Notre Dame, he did a year of research at The University of Michigan where he studied the Neurobiological effects of antipsychotic medications in a rat model. He then went on to complete Medical School at Saint Louis University and a Surgical Internship and Otolaryngology Residency at Loyola University in Chicago.
During his time practicing medicine, he has developed a passion for teaching and has won Community Clinical Faculty of the Year awards multiple times for his work with medical students.
