Dr. Sam Call is from Rochester, New York, and received her BA in Political Science from St. John Fisher College ('17). She went on to complete her MA ('21) and her PhD ('24) in Political Science at Syracuse University. Before coming to Berry, she taught courses in Comparative and American Politics at St. John Fisher, Syracuse University, and Siena College. Her research focuses on democratic backsliding and populism through a comparative lens, with special attention to the European Union and the United States.
