Adjunct Faculty of the Physician Associate Program
Toni Portis King, Ph.D. is an adjunct faculty member of the Physician Associate Program and the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences at Berry College. She has lived in Rome for over 20 years, providing collegiate-level instruction to nursing students. Before teaching, she worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at both Washington University in St. Louis and Northwestern University in Chicago. Her research interests involved the area of viral oncology, specifically exploring the molecular mechanisms by which viruses cause cancer. She is excited to join the Physician Associate Program to teach the Clinical Science course.
