Fifth Year MBA

The Berry MBA Fifth-Year program provides the option to complete the MBA program on a full-time basis in an accelerated format. This option allows recent undergraduate students the opportunity to complete the program in three semesters – summer, fall, and spring – directly following completion of their undergraduate degree.  Students who have earned a 3.0 or higher GPA in a business major or the business minor while at Berry College may waive the GMAT/GRE.

At just over $20,000, this program is one of the most affordable options in Georgia for an MBA degree accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

The Berry MBA is 30 credit hours. Twenty-one of these hours focus on a set of required core courses in the critical areas of business including accounting, finance, marketing, leadership and change management, information systems, value-chain management, and business strategy. For the remaining nine hours, students may choose from three tracks:  Professional Management, Healthcare Management or Fifth-year MBA.

Berry’s Fifth Year program is ideal for students who are ready to take their education to the next level and can commit to an intensive accelerated format.  Full-time students take classes alongside our part-time MBA students.  Classes meet in the evenings from 6:00pm-8:45pm in the fall and spring semesters and 6:00pm-9:30pm in the summer semester.  On-campus classes are supplemented with blended learning activities that can be completed off campus during certain designated weeks of the semester.  Students completing this option will be in class Monday through Thursday nights.  Holding a job during this time is not recommended.

Small classes are structured to build networks and promote lifelong connections through discussions, team projects, and interactions with peers and faculty. In-depth case analysis will sharpen your analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

MBA students have full access to Berry’s one-of-a-kind campus and community, including The Cage Athletic Center, Memorial Library, concerts, theatre productions, and more than 100 miles of trails for hiking and biking.
