Healthcare Management

The MBA Healthcare Management Track is ideal for anyone serving the healthcare industry, whether specializing in patient care or the behind-the-scenes activities that support healthcare providers and products. With the continually changing healthcare industry, a growing number of physicians, hospital and office administrators, nurse managers, pharmacists, athletic trainers, pharmaceutical and medical sales representatives and others are recognizing the need for training in management, finance and business strategies to advance and succeed in their careers.

At just over $20,000, this program is one of the most affordable options in Georgia for an MBA degree accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

The Berry MBA Healthcare Management Track is 30 credit hours. Twenty-one of these hours focus on a set of required core courses in the critical areas of business including accounting, finance, marketing, leadership and change management, information systems, value-chain management, and business strategy. The remaining nine hours focus on the Healthcare Management Track and include courses in health economics and policy, quality management in healthcare, innovations in healthcare, and organizational ethics in healthcare, to name a few. Students can complete the part-time evening program in as few as five semesters or take up to six years if needed.

Berry’s MBA program is ideal for balancing work, family and studies. Classes meet weekdays and are a blend of on-campus meetings and distance weeks throughout the semester.  Each on-campus class meets once per week, 6:00pm–8:45pm, coupled with blended learning activities that can be completed off campus during certain designated weeks of the semester, allowing flexibility and convenience.

Small classes are structured to build networks and promote lifelong connections through discussions, team projects, and interactions with peers and faculty. In-depth case analysis will sharpen your analytical, written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to take the knowledge learned in class and apply it to your work the very next day.

MBA students have full access to Berry’s one-of-a-kind campus and community, including The Cage athletic center, Memorial Library, concerts, theatre productions, and more than 100 miles of trails for hiking and biking.
