RESTRICTED AND FRAGILE MATERIALS POLICY

The archivist may restrict use of archival materials to protect the interests and privacy of living persons. Also, use of collections materials may be temporarily restricted at the donor’s request. Access restrictions are indicated with collection descriptions and on folders containing restricted materials; researchers needing information from restricted materials may consult the archivist. Copies of archival materials may be provided when original materials are too fragile for research use as determined by the archivist.
