Berry College Arboretum and Tree Walk

In 2014, a project was initiated to inventory trees on Berry College's campus to establish an arboretum, a fitting project for a setting already designated as a “Tree Campus USA.” Student researchers working with biology faculty have collected records for more than 1,400 trees from some 100 species and named varieties. A representative group of these trees is included in the Tree Walk throughout the main academic and residential areas of campus.
