Lynn Emanuel has taught at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Bennington Writers’ Conference, and The Warren Wilson Program in Creative Writing. Currently, she is a Professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh, where she directs the Pittsburgh Contemporary Writers’ Series. She is the author of five books of poetry. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Eric Matthieu King Award from The Academy of American Poets, two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships, and a National Poetry Series Award.
