Office of National and International Scholarships and Fellowships
The Office of National and International Scholarships and Fellowships (NISF) seeks to prepare Berry College students wishing to apply for prestigious national and international scholarships by providing eligible individuals with the information, resources, and preparation necessary to be competitive for such awards.
Working closely with faculty and staff, the office identifies potential candidates early in their collegiate careers and encourages them to maintain high academic standards, conduct research, participate in enriching cultural activities such as study abroad, and engage in purposeful community service.
Berry's NISF Coordinator is Matthew G. Stanard, Associate Professor in the Department of History. You can contact him by email, by phone (706-290-2157, ext. 2157 on campus), or visit him at his office in Evans Hall 131.
Check out an interview with Brin Enterkin, class of 2012 and 2012 winner of the Woodruff, Whitehead, and Evans Foundation Fellowship.
Listen to what Faraj Daoud (class of 2012) has to say about his experience applying for and receiving a National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experiences for Undergraduates award, better known as a REU.
