Religious Life Groups

A tremendous amount of the religious vitality at Berry comes from student leaders in religious life groups. Supported by campus ministers and faculty-staff advisors, these groups offer numerous and diverse opportunities for students to grow spiritually.

Baptist Collegiate Ministries

Baptist Collegiate Ministries is a ministry that provides a small family atmosphere. We have casual Monday night devotions and worship as well as free Wednesday lunches provided by local churches that are open to all students. BCM actively tries to endorse service in the Rome community and involvement in the church networks that it provides. We're open to all individuals and would love to have you!

Buddhist Students Group

The Berry Buddhist Studies Group is committed to the study of the philosophy and practice of Buddhist traditions. The group meets weekly, currently on Thursday nights, to discuss Buddhist philosophy, do yoga and meditate.

Campus Outreach

We lead investigative Bible Studies throughout campus and provide many opportunities for each student to grow in their faith in Christ by way of discipleship and evangelism.

Canterbury Student Ministry

Canterbury Student Ministries, a campus ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, welcomes all Episcopal, ELCA Lutheran, and Anglican students and their friends as well as students from all faith backgrounds. We seek to engage, equip, and inspire Christian and spiritual maturity in students, faculty, and staff of Berry College with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We share a weekly meal together, talk about issues facing Berry, our country, and the international community, and end with a brief religious reflection.

Common Worship

Common Worship is a student run group that hosts a time of worship and sharing on Thursday evenings. They aim to provide a space to worship, lead, learn, and grow with fellow students and believers.

Berry Catholic Union

The BCU provides weekly, informal meetings for catholic students to discuss various aspects of their faith. Mass is celebrated Sunday afternoons at Barnwell Chapel.

The Winshape Foundation

The WinShape College Program is a residential scholarship program that is Christian in identity and will frequently host campus-wide events and opportunities. To learn more about them: https://college.winshape.org/residential/

Young Life

Young Life is a ministry that provides for college students to reach out to and lead high school aged students all across Rome. This ministry equips students to lead those younger than them and spread the love of Christ.
