Address Format
The U.S. Postal Service recommends that Berry College residents use six-digit post office box addresses beginning with the prefix "49" followed by the post office box number. The correct mailing address is as follows
Name
Berry College
P O Box 49 _ _ _ _
Mount Berry, GA 30149 - _ _ _ _*
*The four-digit zip code add-on is the same as the P.O. box number.
Private delivery services such as Federal Express and UPS require a street address instead of a post office box address. For these deliveries only, use the following street address:
Name
Berry College
2277 Martha Berry Highway, NW
Mount Berry, GA 30149
Improperly addressed mail may be delayed.
Delivery Times
Incoming mail from the U.S. Postal Service is delivered to Berry College Monday through Friday. Students will receive an email from Mail Services at Berry letting them know when they have mail. Students pick up mail at the "Post Office" window using their Berry ID.
Campus mail is delivered all during the day as it is received, beginning immediately after we finish delivering the U.S. mail. Any campus mail received after 4 p.m. will be delivered on the following business day; no campus mail is delivered on Saturday.
UPS, Federal Express and DHL deliver Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Packages
When you receive a package, you will be notified via an e-mail from Mail Services. A Berry College ID card is required for all package pick-ups.
Student packages will either be placed in a self-serve parcel locker or available for pick-up at the Mail Services customer service counter. The student will receive an email providing pick-up instructions. Parcels placed in lockers may be collected using an access code from the email or by Berry student ID card-swipe. Berry Student IDs are required when picking up packages at the counter.
Packages will remain in lockers for 24 hours, at which time the student will be notified that the time in the locker is about to expire. These packages will be removed from lockers on the next business morning and available for pick-up at the customer service counter.
Stamps
Stamps may be paid for with cash or check for the exact amount of the purchase and be made payable to "Berry College". The customer's name and address must be printed on the check. Acceptable identification is a Berry ID, driver's license or passport.
