On Friday, April 10, 2026, we will celebrate the investiture of Dr. Sandeep Mazumder as Berry College’s ninth president. The event will be held in Steven J. Cage Athletic and Recreation Center Arena. This historic occasion represents not only a formal transition of leadership but also a celebration of the college’s ongoing mission to provide a transformative education of the head, heart and hands.
Mazumder, who was announced as Berry College’s next president on November 11, 2024, assumed the presidency on July 1, 2025. As we prepare for this momentous day on campus, this website will share helpful information and timely updates.
The search committee and board were impressed by Dr. Mazumder’s character, leadership, vision and deep commitment to the values we treasure at Berry. He communicated a deep resonance with Martha Berry’s vision “not to be ministered unto, but to minister” and shares our commitment to an education of the head, heart and hands.
