Dr. Eagar is an environmental microbiologist and soil ecologist who uses next-generation DNA sequencing techniques to study a wide variety of microbiomes. His work seeks to understand how we can promote the effects of beneficial microbes while minimizing the effects of deleterious ones on the environment.
