The COVID-19 pandemic will long be remembered for the disruption it unleashed. The summer 2020 issue of Berry magazine is reflective of these unprecedented circumstances, opening with two pages that focus on Berry’s response, followed by a presidential essay offering a historical perspective on the experiences of Martha Berry herself. Still, there was much to celebrate this spring – both before the pandemic struck and in how our students and alumni persevered in the midst of crisis, and we wanted to capture that as well.
