Summer 2024 Issue

Berry Magazine Summer 24 cover

Summer 2024 issue

Lifelong bonds shared by a group of history-making women; expanded opportunity for students with intellectual disabilities; and changing leadership for alumni and the college as a whole are among the subjects you will find in the Summer 2024 issue of Berry magazine.

Our cover story highlights the women’s basketball pioneers who nearly a half-century ago claimed Berry’s first national title in any sport, paving the way for current stars like Caitlin Clark in the process.

There’s also news of President Steve Briggs’ impending retirement and the launch of a search for his successor, as well as Dr. Briggs’ latest essay, which focuses on efforts by the Berry College Board of Trustees to further emphasize Berry’s distinctiveness and articulate its core values.

All of this content is available online, along with our latest alumni features and other select stories. There’s much more in the print edition, which is circulated on campus and mailed to alumni and friends. To view in PDF form, simply click the accompanying cover image.

Alums with personal news to share are invited to use our online submission form available at www.alwaysberry.com/classnotes. Be sure to include your class year and other pertinent details, as well as a photo if you like.

If you need to update your address and/or contact information to ensure you receive future issues of Berry magazine and the Alumni Accent e-newsletter, use that same link.

Questions, comments and ideas for future issues can be directed to Rick Woodall (93C), Berry editor, at rwoodall@berry.edu.
