Neo-Americana singer/songwriter Campbell Harrison (17C) is making his way in Nashville, building his career “brick by brick.”

Isabelle Hill came to Berry College with a love for growing plants. She will graduate having discovered a passion for promoting sustainable farming and educating others about where their food comes from, all while working hard to feed Rome’s hungry and homeless.

Berry family and friends celebrated the culmination of a long-held dream during the official dedication of a new donor-funded teaching and research facility designed to meet the needs of the college’s stellar animal science program.

Betty Anne Rouse Bell (52H, 56C) was all smiles during the fall dedication of the recital hall that now bears her name. Voices soared in celebration of the donor-funded renewal of Ford Auditorium as a premier learning and performance space for Berry students and faculty.

While undergraduate enrollment nationally declined last fall, Berry’s student population soared to record heights, affirming the college’s growing stature among those seeking a quality, high-value education.

Berry alumni and friends continue to inspire us with their willingness to step forward in support of students and other campus initiatives, often giving in honor or memory of cherished mentors, classmates and family members.

Bridgette Stewart (98C), Patricia Tutterow Jackson (82C, FFS), Hester Parks (95C) and Dr. Carson Kay (16C) are the 2021 recipients of the Berry Alumni Council’s Distinguished Alumni Awards.

The National Science Foundation has awarded Berry a $750,000 grant for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) scholarships to be used for LEGION, a program designed to aid STEM students with financial need.

Impressive firsts in volleyball and men’s cross country highlighted Berry’s return to fall competition after last year’s spring pivot for all sports due to COVID-19.
