A renowned Christian author will lecture about “Surviving and Thriving through Deep Difference” April 15 at Berry College.
The Berry College Chaplain’s Office welcomes John Inazu to speak on his book “Confident Pluralism: Surviving and Thriving through Deep Difference” at 7 p.m. in the Krannert Ballroom.
This lecture is a part of the Chaplain’s Office Lumen Lecture series and is free and open to the public.
Inazu is professor of law and religion at Washington University in St. Louis where he focuses on the First Amendment, freedom of speech, religion and questions of legal and political theory. He is also the author of several books, including “Liberty’s Refuge: The Forgotten Freedom of Assembly” ce and his newest book, “Learning to Disagree: The Surprising Path to Navigating Differences with Empathy and Respect”.
Inazu is a co-founder of The Carver Project, which focuses on the empowerment of Christian students and faculty to serve and connect their universities, churches and society. The Legal Vocation Fellowship is another of his projects that equips and encourages Christian legal practitioners.
