The Spring 2026 issue of Berry highlights a season of strategic growth in the health sciences marked by the opening of Morgan-Bailey Hall, a state-of-the-art learning facility supporting the launch of a new graduate-level physician associate program and planned growth in nursing.
These exciting developments build on the college’s longstanding success in producing leaders in health care, as evidenced by a quartet of feature stories showcasing alumni who are excelling in such areas as pediatric surgery, nursing, research and teaching, and hospital administration.
And then there’s the first essay by Dr. Sandeep Mazumder in his new role as Berry president. Echoing the call of a beloved character from British literature to “come and see what I’ve found,” he invites readers to consider how the goal of growing Berry’s national reputation offers the potential to advance the college’s life-changing mission by revealing its “light” to others.
