Application

We emphasize the importance of submitting all required documentation accurately and promptly to ensure that your application is processed efficiently. We appreciate your interest in our programs and look forward to receiving your application.

The application is available online; there is no application fee. The online application includes sections on personal, education and program information. A complete application includes the following items:

An official transcript from each college or university you have attended is required. Transcripts must be sent by the institution directly to Berry College. Transcripts submitted by the applicant will not be considered official. If you have attended or graduated from Berry College, you do not have to request a transcript.

A narrative educational goal statement, not exceeding 500 words, outlining the applicant's objectives in pursuing graduate studies, professional accomplishments, background and teaching dispositions that will be brought to the program.

Two recommendations are required. These should be from current supervisors or co-workers. Recommenders should be able to evaluate your potential to lead and manage others, personal qualities, and interpersonal skills. Do not include recommendations from family members.

You will be asked to provide the name and email address for each recommendation. Please use personal email addresses rather than district school emails. Each person will receive an email from graduateeducation@berry.edu with a link to complete the recommendation form and/or upload a letter of recommendation. If the email is not received, please have your recommender check their junk email folder.

The GaPSC requires all candidates entering an education program to have a new background check completed. The application includes a link to PSI Services to complete the background check. Those results are automatically sent to the Graduate Education Office.

Superintendent Assurance Form is required for leadership programs only.
